Baby Boy’s 1st Christmas List

I cannot believe that it’s December! It’s almost Christmas time! It’s also so crazy to think that my little guy is going to be celebrating his First Christmas! How fun is that?!

Emma was only 3 months when she had her First Christmas so she didn’t really understand what was going on. Last year she had just turned 1 and although she was super excited to get presents, I don’t think she understood much about it either. But THIS YEAR! Oh man, I’m so excited!

I put together a little Christmas List for Owen based on his age and likes. For reference, by the time Christmas rolls around Owen will have just turned 10 months.

The Lovevery Baby Playmat is GORGEOUS!!!!! Seriously, the pictures don’t do it justice! Both Owen and Emma LOVE it. It’s super colorful and beautiful. The Play Gym includes everything you need from batting to teething to learning to focus for your baby’s first year of play. The mat is “broken up” into 5 zones, and each zone on the Play Mat reveal or conceal to prevent over-stimulation and promote learning. Emma’s favorite part is that it converts to a Play Fort! With a Play Space Cover included, The Play Gym becomes a cozy space, where Emma loves to sit in and read, and play hide and seek with Owen.

I saw the Little Tikes Little Tikes 3-in-1 Sports Zone at Target the other day and thought it would be such a great gift for a little guy! There are three sports in one: Basketball, Soccer and Bowling. It makes over 75 sounds and phrases and three mode buttons on backboard grow with your child: Learn (teaches colors, numbers and shapes), Move (lights and sounds encourage movement) and Games (teaches child to follow directions). The Basketball hoop is adjustable which is great because they toy can “grow” as Owen grows, there’s a light up backboard that makes sounds when shots are made. Best of all, the toy center folds up for easy storage and comes with 3 balls: basketball, soccer ball and bowling ball.

I talked to one of my Boy Mama friends and she said that her sons loved these Melissa & Doug activity boards! It’s basically an activity board featuring doors to open, close, and explore. Each hinged door fastens with a different lock or latch which is great to build fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination, and problem-solving skills. It’s recommended for ages 3 years and up, but I think that as long as you don’t leave your little ones unattended while playing, they will love keeping busy with theses!

I liked this Laugh & Learn First Words Crawl-Along Train because I am all about educational games! I will be very honest and tell you that talking toys usually drive me nuts haha, but as long as they are teaching my kids something, and not just making annoying noises, I am down! 🙂 You can buy additional educational blocks [1//2//3//4] for the train as well, which is great because you can always change it up and keep your child learning!

Both of my kids are obsessed with Little People, so when I found this Little People Animal Rescue Playset I snatched it right away! 🙂

When I saw this Learn And Zoom Motor Bike I knew I wanted to get it for Owen! The Learn And Zoom Motor Bike transforms from a toddler tricycle into a two-wheel ride on bike. It has an interactive toddler activity panel that features lights, buttons, rollers and gears that introduce objects, colors, shapes and even talks about road safety. It has 2 modes of play including sing and learn mode and ride-on mode.

The Grapple has easily become one of my favorite things ever! I don’t know why every single kid loves to throw stuff on the floor, but let me tell you that I don’t like picking up toys 20 times in a row, lol! Grapple suctions to most smooth surfaces allowing your baby to enjoy their toys without dropping them out of reach. They can throw their toys all they want, but they are still always within easy reach!!! You just secure your baby’s favorite baby toys onto the suction toy holder using the three tethers. The tethers and exterior of the Grapple are made with food grade silicone – which is soft and safe for babies to chew on. The plastic leaf at the top is a clip that lets you secure your Grapple to a diaper bag, baby carrier, etc. Seriously, the best!

While talking about babies throwing everything on the floor, The Munch Mitt is basically the only teething “toy” that stays clean for more than 5 minutes because it’s secured on Owen’s hand! Read my full review HERE!

grabease utensils are the safest way for toddlers to start self-feeding because grabease are designed to give toddlers the opportunity to eat independently with a proportional tool for their natural hand grasp and motion with a choke protection shield. They have an ergonomically designed handle for a more natural hand feeding motion, and I love the choke protection barrier because it makes it safe for baby to self-feed. grabease utensils are awesome for baby led weaning to toddler eating. The grabease utensils are one of my favorite new finds!

Lastly I HAD to get Owen his own LeapFrog My Pal Scout! Emma has the LeapFrog My Pal Violet and Owen loves it and tries to take it from her. I love that you can set it for the puppy to say your child’s name! The kids really love that! By knowing each child’s name, the Scout Violet sing songs with their names, spells their name out and greets them. Too cute! Press Scout’s paws for lullabies, learning songs and activities with numbers, animals, food and more.

I think that Owen will love all his Christmas gifts this year! I will admit though, that it’s hard trying to figure out what to get your kids for Christmas! It will be much easier when they can just tell me what they want! Lol!
